Rooted in the resilience of our rural communities, the Tanzania Rural Development Forum (TRDF) proudly participated in the African Climate Summit preparatory meeting held on 15 and 16 May 2025 in Addis Ababa. The meeting was organized by the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA), CARE International, and the Consortium for Climate Change in Ethiopia.
We engaged with the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (through the Ministry of Planning and Development), the African Union Commission – Department of Political Affairs, Peace and Security (AUC-DPA), the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), and other key stakeholders, including Oxfam International, Plan International, Amref Health Africa, the Eastern Africa Farmers Federation (EAFF), the Women’s Environment and Development Organization (WEDO), and the African Youth Climate Assembly.
