Theory of Change

If a platform for stakeholders’ information sharing, policy dialogue, research, best practices, and fostering collaboration created; agency’s ability to eliminate gender-based violence in rural areas through the provision of legal aid and economic empowerment for women and youth strengthened; access to reproductive health for women and youth in rural areas improved; political and civic empowerment of women and youth participation in decision-making structures and leadership roles in rural areas promoted; transparency and accountability over public resources in health, education, agriculture, and natural resources for the promotion of rural development promoted; and women and youth to actively participate in and benefit from climate resilience and mitigation efforts, fostering environmental sustainability, and economic development in rural areas empowered; then will contribute to achieving TRDF’s goal of fostering inclusive and sustainable rural development in Tanzania by bringing together diverse stakeholders, including government entities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), community-based organizations (CBOs), private sector actors, and international agencies, to collectively work towards improving the well-being of rural communities.
